Pilot survives plane crash in Sarapiquí

A fumigation plane crashed on Wednesday morning in Old Port of Sarapiquí.

The alert about this accident came in at 7:38 a.m.

According to the Red Cross Communications Center, the pilot of the aircraft was reported as stable.

Firefighting units went to the site to rule out fuel and chemical spills.

At the moment the reasons that caused the accident are unknown.
