Plan to pay for caregivers approved

The 42 legislators present in the plenary session on May 9th, approved unanimously the first debate for a law project that authorizes the State to finance the payment of caregivers for people with disabilities.

The funds will come from institutions such as Junta de Protección Social (JPS) y el Fondo de Desarrollo Social y Asignaciones Familiares (FODESAF).

Before being subjected to a second debate, the project must be consulted with several institutions related to disabilities.
