Police authorities investigate plane crash in Guanacaste

Police authorities are investigating a plane crash that occurred on Wednesday in Santa Cruz de Guanacaste, after the tests came back positive for an unknown substance.

Víctor Barrantes, ai Minister of Public Safety, said that the K9 (canine unit) determined there are traces of possible drugs.

The Press Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MSP) reported that two people were located in the plane.

Public Force Officers guard the scene until it is delivered to the judicial authorities to determine if any crime was committed.
