Police destroys illegal alcohol

The Municipal Police of Escazú stopped a man who sold liquor in the central park of Escazú.

The incident occurred during the early hours of Saturday, when city hall officials received a complaint and proceeded with remote observation.

They checked the transactions and decided to approach the subject. He tried to flee in a black vehicle, but was intercepted in the vicinity of the square of San Rafael de Escazú.

The man had a considerable amount of liquor in different formats of distillate.

As confirmed by the municipal police, the officers proceeded with the destruction of the product.
