Police will check San Pedro’s bar where 8 young people were drugged

Trained dogs from the Public Force’s canine unit will check the bar where 8 young people were drugged in San Pedro on Thursday morning.

The Press Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MSP) reported that personnel from the Regional Anti-Drug Program also moved to the area to conduct their investigation.

They are also trying to control a young man who he is very upset aggressive with the authorities. Relatives intervene to try to calm him down and take him to a medical center.

In total, a group of 8 young people were transferred to the Calderón Guardia hospital, 3 of them in a delicate condition, after consuming some substance in the bar in San Pedro, which caused nervous system disturbances and respiratory crisis.

Apparently, they participated in a party in the nightclub on Wednesday night.

The type of drugs they would have consumed is still unknown, but versions of the people who were in place indicate that it would be very similar to cocaine.
