Political parties omit what they’ll do to improve infrastructure

January 30, 2018 by Staff News Writer

According to the last report of the World Economic Forum, out of the 22 Latin American countries under study, Costa Rica ranks twentieth, being one of the countries with the worst road infrastructure.

Besides that, it has 30 years of lag in the subject, and technological inability and indebtedness grow every day, according to four experts of the College of Engineers and Architects (CFIA) in an analysis made of the government plans of the seven candidates to the Presidency of the Republic.

The activity was moderated by the journalist Pilar Cisneros.

The road to San Ramón and the electric train are some of the proposals that political parties have in common, and there are many other proposals, but no plan contemplates how they are going to be done, in what terms, at what price and with what priority.

This last point was highly criticized by the technicians of the College of Engineers and Architects, stating that there is an inability to manage.
