Power service suspended in several sectors of San José

August 31, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The National Power and Light Company (CNFL) suspended the power service in several sectors of San José on Thursday due to maintenance and extension of lines.

One of the suspensions began at 7:30 a.m. at the Philadelphia Mall and at Bethel Street in La Carpio. In the first sector, a total of 574 customers were affected from the Susan bazaar to Denis bakery.

While on Bethel Street, 51 houses were affected. The main street of La Carpio will not be subjected to the suspension. This is due to the extension of secondary lines and post relocation.

According to the entity, there will be 297 affected customers, among them: Buildings Amalia, Trejos González, La Llacuna, María Cecilia, Rodfon, the Presidente Hotel, Rostipollos, Nehus and Mango Store.

The school Republic of Peru, hotels del Rey, Costa Rica Morazan, Gana, the Chelles bar and the Central Bank of Culture Square will not be affected.
