In his traditional weekly message, president Luis Guillermo Solís invited citizens to visit National Parks and enjoy the natural beauties that Costa Rica offers.

The president talked about the visit he made on February 17th to Corcovado National Park, where he inaugurated several infrastructure works intended to improve tourists’ experience.

Dear fellows, come to the parks, take advantage of this extraordinary Costa Rican heritage,

As announced, $ 2.5 million were invested in three sectors of Corcovado: sanitary batteries, platform for camping, kitchen-dining area were included. In addition, investments were made in improvements to wastewater treatment plants.

When we took office, almost $ 2.5 million of IDB-Tourism had been lost because they were not used. We recovered them with the leadership of MINAE, minister Edgar Gutierrez and its officials, and projects will take place throughout the country,
