Public force destroys illegal huts from farm in Orotina

October 28, 2016 by Staff News Writer

On Thursday, authorities destroyed 17 huts that were built illegally on a private land in Esterillos Oeste in Parrita. The land is owned by an American, who asked the security forces to conduct eviction.

There are around 17 hut irregularly installed on private property. For this reason an administrative decision was issued and the area must be evacuated,”

confirmed Carlos Hidalgo, a spokesman for the security forces.

At the time of eviction there were no people in the huts, so it is believed that the constructions were made to then apply for the right to possession of the property.
