RECOPE ensured fuel supply during strike

June 25, 2018 by Staff News Writer

The Costa Rican Petroleum Refinery (RECOPE) maintained fuel supply this Monday, while employees of the public sector held a strike. Via press release, the refinery indicated that until 10:00 a.m. there were no reports of shortages.

The supply of fuel at service stations and at airports can be affected during strikes. However, RECOPE indicated that this time the service was provided normally.

The sale service at the Juan Santamaría airports, in Alajuela; Daniel Oduber, in Liberia and Tobías Bolaños, in Pavas, was also normal.

CRHoy.com consulted about the number of employees of this institution that joined the strike, but the report was not complete.
