Residents of Filadelfia de Carrillo won’t have water due to electric failure

April 19, 2019 by Staff News Writer

The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) did not have good news for the residents of Filadelfia de Carrillo in Guanacaste. The institution explained that one of the pumping equipment suffered significant damage due to the electrical failure in the well field.

At the moment, the service is being supplied with a well, which is why there is low pressure and partial interruption in some places near the area.

As a palliative measure, the entity would have tank trucks with water in the locations where there is no supply.

To the users that have low pressure, we ask for their collaboration to make responsible use of drinking water so that the valuable liquid can be distributed among more neighbors in their locality,”

stressed AyA.
