Residents of Poas and Grecia will demonstrate on January 20th

January 16, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Residents-Courtesy

Residents of Poas and Grecia stopped being patient. The road that communicates both cantons is in terrible condition and despite the complaints, claims and writs of amparo, nothing has changed.

Therefore, citizens will go to the National Council of Roads (CONAVI) on January 20th: At 5 pm, 10 representatives of the citizens will meet the authorities from that institution to ask for a solution.

A local company will put buses at people’s disposal so that they can attend the meeting.

4 people have died on the road. There are people with damaged tires, broken knees and compensators and people who end up in the ditch for trying to dodge the potholes. We cannot longer continue living like this,

declared Harol Salazar, one of the demonstration organizers.
