Route 27 will have a reversible lane every Sunday of January

January 3, 2018 by Staff News Writer

To simplify the return of vacationers in January, Transit authorities reported that Route 27 will have a reversible lane every Sunday of this month.

According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MOPT), the lane will be enabled in the direction Caldera-San José, between Pozón and the exchange of Ciudad Colón in a single schedule from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., as explained by Mauricio Fernández, secretary of the National Council of Concessions.

According to Fernández, for reversibility operations, the closures will start one hour before the effective time and will end one hour later. The maximum speed allowed will be 60 kilometers per hour.

To know the status of the route or request assistance from the Concessionaire Corporation, users may call the Control Center at 2588-4040. They can also contact the Traffic Police Directorate at 2523-3300 to the extensions 1021 and 1029.
