Saharan dust is still affecting the country

Saharan dust is still affecting the country, a situation that generates a very dry environment, intensifies temperatures throughout the day and it could last until next Saturday.

According to the National Meteorological Institute (IMN), the rains will be very dispersed nationwide and maximum temperatures could be around 31 and 33 degrees Celsius in the Central Valley, 38 °C and 36 °C in the Pacific and 30 °C and 32 °C in the Caribbean and in the North.

Particularly, isolated rainstorms are forecast in the mountains of the Central Pacific, the South Pacific and Nicoya Peninsula, as well as very dispersed showers in the west sector of the Central Valley.
