March 6, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The largest gathering of service companies based on knowledge of Latin America will be held in San José, Costa Rica, on and March 15th and 16th.

Outsource2LAC is a business conference organized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Foreign Trade of Costa Rica (PROCOMER), aiming to share the best practices and experiences of the sector and promote the creation of business and investment opportunities for SMEs in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The event also has the support of the Ministry of Foreign Trade (COMEX), the Costa Rican Coalition for Development Initiatives (CINDE), ConnectAmericas, Essential COSTA RICA and the Chamber of Information and Communication Technologies (CAMTIC).

The activity will be held within the framework of the Week of Foreign Trade and Investment Services. Some of the activities are the first 2017 meeting of REDIBERO (Latin American Network of Organizations of Promotion of Foreign Trade) and the meeting of ALETI (Latin American Association of Information Technology Entities).

To this date, there are 427 participating companies, 277 of which are international companies with buyer or ally profiles, while the remaining 150 are Costa Rican firms that already have scheduled more than 2,250 business appointments.
