Save the date: The Gastronomic Festival returns on May 14th

April 21, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Save the date May 14th on your agenda, because Barrio Escalante prepares the fifth edition of the Gastronomic Festival.

Silvia Rodríguez, president of the Restaurant Association Paseo Gastronómico La Luz, commented that people are very anxious about this new edition, because the last one had to be postponed by the rains in December.

We estimated 25 thousand people for this occasion,”

said Rodríguez. There will be 15 restaurants that will join this festival. The organizers are currently waiting for permits from the Traffic Police, but it is expected to take place on 33rd Street, on 7th and 5th avenues, in Park France.

There will be new proposals, but some things we want to them to be a surprise, that there is expectation. On the other hand, we also want to make a different gastronomic offer, we want to offer small dishes, so that people can enjoy all the variety that we will have at the festival,”

said Rodríguez.

The activity is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 14th.
