Sewer collapse in Turrialba affected three homes

May 22, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Three homes were flooded on Monday afternoon due to the collapse of sewers by heavy rains in Turrialba’s La Suiza.

Steven Pérez, Superintendent of the Fire Department, reported that there were no people affected and that he coordinated with the Municipality of the area to assist the occupants of the houses.

The flood also affected a road in the area that was left looking like a river because of the large amount of water.
