Simón Bolivar Park will hold outdoor yoga session

On January, the capital also offers different options for enjoyment. Such is the case of Simón Bolivar Zoo, which prepares a yoga session in the heart of San José, on January 21st at 9:00 a.m.

“Doing Yoga in the heart of San José,” will be in charge of the members of the Costa Rican Association of Yoga Teachers. The activity is prepared so that it extends for little more than one hour. Those who wish to meditate, will have to pay only ¢ 3,500 which includes breakfast.

The instructor will be Georgina Vega Solano, who has a long career of at least eight years integrating the principles of the Feldenkrais method to the execution of the asanas, in addition to the yoga classes for regular students, she has specialized in serving groups of elderly people fusing the awareness of the movement with the recovery of motor skills lost due to disuse in this particular population.
