Snake encounter in Guanacaste!

October 10, 2016 by Staff News Writer

A man who was walking by the slopes of Rincón de la Vieja volcano was surprised when he found himself face to face with a 2-meter constrictor snake.

The close encounter with the reptile occurred on Saturday at about 10 a.m., when the man was going to a drilling site in the Pailas sector.

The snake was crossing the street, we scared it away, so that cars wouldn’t hurt it,”

said the man.

When we find these animals, we take care of them, we know we don’t have to kill them, they have taught us that culture of caring for animals,

concluded the man.
