Solís: “public funds can’t be used for political campaigns”

March 21, 2017 by Staff News Writer

President Luis Guillermo Solís said that he will be strict to those who intend to use public funds, such as those destined for social programs, for campaigns.

He declared so due to the alleged accusations made by legislator Mario Redondo. The president informed that he will study the case because such a public complaint should be filed.

Solis indicated that he will apply the Law as he did at the beginning of his administration and he is not scared of it.
