Strike ends at SINART

After two meetings held on Wednesday morning and afternoon between the employer and union representatives of the National Radio and Television System (SINART), and with the mediation of the Ministries of Presidency and Labor, an agreement was reached that allows to resume normal conditions in the work center.

The document signed by the parties states that the positions in force as of July 31st will be renewed by the administration.

On the other hand, the union representatives will file the complaints for administrative issues before the offices of the Ministry of Labor and the Presidency in order to provide legal security, and they will be followed up with the SINART Administration, informed the entity through of a press release.

SINART union noted that

once again we demand compliance with what is stated in our Collective Convention, that all positions go to competition immediately, transparently, and in accordance with the manual of current positions in the institution. We demand that job stability be given to colleagues who have been in interim status for a long time.”

The answer was given to the rumor of the supposed dismissal of 40 interim officials of the institution.
