Strike in health area of Alajuela ends

With the definition of certain agreements, such as overtime pay while the lack of pharmacy service personnel is solved in the health area of Alajuela, workers from the pharmaceutical service ended the strike that began at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

The negotiations determined an analysis on the situation must be conducted and a report shoul be delivered on November 7th. The document will be discussed at a second meeting to be held on November 10th.

While report of the study is provided and the meeting is held, the extraordinary time workers will be paid. This in order to extend the conference and provide more efficient service to users,”

stated the National Union of Employees of the Fund (UNDECA).

In the meantime, the services will continue with the current methodology.
