Strong earthquake shakes much of the Central Valley

A strong earthquake shook parts of San José at 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday. The movement had an intensity of 4.1, and 2.0 km South Southwest of Colón, Mora in San José, according to the report of the Vulcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica.

The movement was felt in San José, particularly in the west, in Alajuela, Heredia and in certain sectors of Cartago, according to reports.
