Strong earthquake shook Desamparados

A strong earthquake occurred on Saturday at 7:38 p.m. According to the National Seismological Network (RSN), the movement had a magnitude of 3.3 and was located 1 km northwest of San Miguel, Desamparados.

The Costa Rican Volcanological and Seismological Observatory (Ovsicori) indicated that the magnitude was 3.1 and its epicenter was located in Desamparados.

The movement was perceived in much of San José. The depth was five kilometers.
