Suspect of murdering Asian trader turned himself to the police

Acosta Méndez, suspect of killing an Asian trader, had an 8-year sentence for drug crimes, but he was free until January 18th, when he turned himself in to Guadalupe Courts.

According to Walter Mendoza, director of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ), he was not the only one who committed the crime, but he was the only one who confessed it. He will now serve his pending sentence.

Authorities are looking for the other suspects.

The victim’s name was Óscar Liang.
