On October 25th, the hospitals benefiting from the 690 million colones, that Telethon 2016 aims to raise, were announced.

According to Christian Reyes, president of the Active 20-30 Foundation, the funds will benefit the neonatology service of Women’s Hospital, Carit Maternity, pulmonology department from the National Children’s Hospital and to the pediatrics ward of Max Teran Hospital, in Quepos.

This year, the marathon returns to its origins. As a resut, the concept of “icon child” is back and a lovely girl was chosen for the occasion.

Annagabi Valerio Murillo is just 3 years old but she has a sweet and cheerful personality.

The girl was born with Apert syndrome; she is one out of the 31 cases in country.

The telethon will be held on December 2nd and 3rd at the sports city of Hatillo 2.
