The first Ethnic Fair will take place this weekend

The National Cultural Center (CENAC) is waiting for you!

African dance, calypso, Chinese dances, Jewish rhythms, theater, gastronomy, workshops and many activities for the whole family are offered by CENAC from October 7th to October 9th as part of the first Ethnic Fair. It aims to include everyone, from Indigenous people to Afro descendant, Spanish, Italian, Jewish and Chinese people.

There will be concerts, lectures and free exhibitions for children and adults. In addition, people will be able to buy Caribbean food and Mediterranean fusion savors, among other delicious recipes.

On October 7th, from 7 am to 3 pm, expositions and craftworks will start. At 4:30 pm the millennial Lion Dance for good fortune will be performed by the Student Association from Zhong San.

At 5 pm, “Rainbow of Cultures”, an ethnical show of dance, theatre and music, will be presented to highlight Costa Rican society’s values, which are consequences of a delicate cultural mix.
