To ensure order in Plaza de la Cultura and properly maintain the fountain’s water conditions, it will be turned off during the days of high-traffic events in the capital.

Therefore, during the Christmas season, the fountain will be off on December 13th, 14th and 15th, when the “Avenidazo” is scheduled. It will also be deactivated on Wednesday December 16th for the annual electrical system checkup in the Central Bank Museum.

The same thing will occur on December 17th during the Festival of Light and on December 26th, 27th, 31st, and January 1st during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

With the exception of the indicated dates, the public will be able to enjoy the fountain in its usual schedule from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The water and light music show are held every hour from 6 p.m.
