The International Festival of the Arts is back!

March 15, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The International Festival of the Arts will once again shine in the capital. The Ministry of Culture talked about the details of the XV edition of the event, which will be held from June 29th to July 9th.

It will be 11 days where dance, theater, music, circus, visual arts, workshops and many more activities will invade San José, with 56 shows from Latin America, Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Italy, among other nations.

In addition, national artists will have an important participation in the event, which will take place from Central Park to Antigua Aduana complex (1,7 kilometers).

The goal is that those who enjoy the FIA can do it on foot, by bicycle or by bus.

This FIA 2017 will also be a festival for all art lovers, a window of opportunity to support the development of our performing artists and their internationalization,

said Sylvie Durán, minister of Culture and Youth.
