The Ministry of Health will celebrate life! Join the Light Festival!

The Ministry of Health will celebrate life with its float at the Light Festival to be held on December 17th at 6 pm.

“Say yes to life, say no to tobacco” will be the float slogan. It will pass by through the main roads of Paseo Colón and Avenida Segunda.

The float will measure 9 meters and will count on the presence of staff’s childre. There will also be former smokers, who quit smoking thanks to programs developed by Law 9028.

Athletes from different disciplines and representatives of the Committee of Sports of San José will also join the children.

This representation will be the eighth to parade and it was built with an iron structure, while all details have been worked on wood and styrofoam. The design was led by Horacio Prado and the construction, that lasted just over two months, was made by Karol Serrano.
