The President has not been notified of complaint against him

Fifteen days ago, three people with last names González, Rivera and González filed a complaint against President Luis Guillermo Solís and seven other officials for the cementazo. However, until today, Presidential House said that the president has not been notified about it.

Last Tuesday, Solís indicated that once he found out about the situation, he requested that it be dealt with diligently; however, he said that he had not received notification of the popular action complaint.

Yesterday they indicated from Zapote that they were still not notified.

The complaint was filed while Solis was serving his disability due to the operation of the prostate to which he was subjected on October 18.

Solís, along with Carlos Chinchilla, Celso Gamboa, Berenice Smith, Welmer Ramos, Jorge Chavarria, Otto Guevara and Víctor Morales Zapata are accused of prevarication, ideological falsification, influence peddling, breach of duties, influence against the Public Treasury and fraud of law in the administrative function.

The text, comprised of 29 pages, questions the process of the changes to the technical regulation of hydraulic cement, the visits of Juan Carlos Bolaños to Casa Presidencial, the credit process at Banco de Costa Rica, the unloading of cement in customs, the dismissals in the Judicial Power and the events revealed by the investigative commission of the Legislative Assembly.

The complaint was forwarded to the Attorney General ai Emilia Navas.
