The schedules for the reversible lane to Heredia will change today

February 7, 2017 by Staff News Writer

As part of the adjustments to the contingency plan created for the works on Virilla bridge over General Cañas highway, the schedules in the reversible lane to Heredia will change on February 7th, starting at 12 noon until midnight: 2 lanes will work from San José to Heredia and 1 lane will work in the opposite direction.

The new schedule of the reversible lane is the following:

-From 12 a.m. to 12 noon, two lanes will operate from Heredia to San José.
-From 12 noon to 12 am two lanes will operate to enter Heredia.

The modification will be applied in order to provide easier ways to enter and leave the flower province. This decision was made because the route is considered an alternate route for the works on General Cañas highway.

In order to carry out the new plan, the General Direction of Traffic Engineering from the MOPT placed the respective signals and changed the times of the necessary traffic lights.

Traffic Police officers will be located in the sector and will help users, especially at noon, when the new schedule will start.
