The suspect of murdering 5 young people in Liberia is a 40-year-old man

January 23, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Walter Espinoza, director of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ), said that a 40-year-old man is the main suspect of murdering 5 young people in Liberia.

He has a Chinese-letter tattoo on his back near the right shoulder. His height and nationality are unknown.

Authorities did not give details of the suspect’s relationship with the victims, but they simply stated that they had found the person’s appearance through the investigations they are carrying out.

Five young people were killed in Liberia on January 19th. They had their hands and feet tied and their throat was cut. They also had other stab wounds on their bodies.

A 14-year-old girl, who is the cousin of one of the victims, survived the attack. She was in her relative’s house because she was studying for some exams. She is the main witness so far.

4 of the victims were renting the house where the bloody event occurred. They were students from the University of Costa Rica.
