The weather is back to normal

October 24, 2018 by Staff News Writer

The typical weather conditions in Costa Rica allowed the authorities to suspend emergency alerts in national territory.

The most recent report of the National Meteorological Institute indicated that the storm in the Pacific is over and that the trend of the week will be isolated rains, sunny mornings, and descent of humidity.

After the suspension of the yellow and green alerts, the Emergency Committees and Institutions are asked to:

-Be vigilant in the face of Tropical Wave No. 44 from October 25th
-Have inventories of supplies and equipment for the event and lists of possible suppliers
-Keep the population informed.

The cantons that had a yellow alert are: Carrillo, Santa Cruz, Nandayure, Hojancha, and Paquera.
