There was a fire in suspect’s house

August 29, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Last night a fire was reported in the house of the main suspect of the crime of an 8-year-old child.

The subject is the allegedly responsible for the child’s death, who was decapitated and mutilated on the banks of river Jiménez.

Guápiles Fire Station, in Guácimo, confirmed that there was a fire in the suspect’s house, but it informed that no units would be sent until security forces controlled the situation, since there were several enraged neighbors and that could jeopardize firefighters’ integrity.
