There was an attempted robbery in the National Bank

August 13, 2019 by Staff News Writer

At least four men tried to assault the branch of the National Bank in San Miguel de Sarapiquí, in Heredia, but were not able to enter the bank because private security guards closed the doors.

Faced with this situation, as can be seen in a video, the subjects had to return to the car in which they had arrived and flee.

One person notified police authorities through the 9-1-1 emergency system.

The characteristics were recorded and a vehicle was apprehended minutes later. There are three people apprehended by the OIJ as suspects,”

said the Ministry of Security.
