These are the holidays with “long weekends” in 2017

January 2, 2017 by Staff News Writer

If you just returned from vacation and you are already thinking about the first holiday of the year, mark these on the calendar.

This year, Holy Tuesday is on April 11th, as Holy Week begins on April 9th with Palm Sunday.

The first “long weekend” will be in May, as Labor Day is on a Monday.

July 25th it’s Tuesday, while August 2nd, the day of the Virgin of Los Ángeles, will be held on a Wednesday.

On the other hand, August 15th will be celebrated on Tuesday, and September 15th on Friday, while October 12th it’s Thursday.

At the end of the year, there will also be two long weekends, because December 25th and January 1st, 2018 are Monday.

While days off arrive, use the workdays to stand out and start the year with enthusiasm.
