These areas will be affected by the Turrialba volcano ash

According to the estimates of the Atmosphere’s Chemistry Laboratory at the National University (UNA), the ash emanated by Turrialba volcano would reach several areas of San José, Heredia and Alajuela, which are:

-Coronado, Guadalupe, Ipís, Moravia and Tibás.
-San José, Pavas, San Pedro and Sabanilla.
-Heredia, San Isidro, Santo Domingo, San Rafael, Santa Bárbara and Barva.
-Alajuela, Carrizal, Poás and Braulio Carrillo National Park.
-Finca Central, Finca Silvia, Finca San Bosco, Finca Lara, Finca Echandi, Finca Volio, among other places nearby.

In the last 12 hours, the volcano recorded two major eruptions, with ash columns that rose 1,000 meters above the crater.
