Tibás’ central street will be subject to closures

February 10, 2019 by Staff News Writer

Drivers who need to pass through the central street of Tibás, on the east side of the Walmart, must be patient and use alternate routes starting this Monday, because new pluvial pipes will be installed in the area. The works are part of Circunvalación Norte, on the national route 39.

For a whole month, only one lane will be enabled per direction. In order to avoid road congestion during rush hours, the workers will close the street from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am.

Recommended alternate routes are: Calle 101 passing through the west side of Walmart Tibás until you reach Calle 5, or Avenida 41 passing through the Construction Chamber until you reach Route 32.

In the work zone the necessary signaling will be placed to guide the drivers on the detours and at night light signals will also signal the detour.
