Tico Tuna gaining ground in the country’s exports

Ticos have excess mercury in the body


Costa Rican exports of processed tuna that have increased by precent, compared to the $16 million exported in 2012, according to data from the Foreign Trade Promoter (Procomer). The U.S. market consumed 43 percent of the export that has contributed to increased employment in Puntarenas.
