“Toca nalgas” was caught in Puriscal

January 23, 2017 by Staff News Writer

A man of at least 45 years old was arrested on Saturday night for alleged sexual abuse against a minor of about 15 years old in the canton of Turrubares in San José, according to the local police.

According to reports of several witnesses, the man, named Artavia, would have touched the girl without her consent, which is why the victim alerted authorities.

The subject, known in the locality as the “Toca Nalgas” (butt grabber), was stopped immediately at the town’s festivals.

After his arrest, he was referred to the Prosecutor’s Office of Puriscal.

The young woman, accompanied by her parents, testified in the Public Ministry, which investigates the complaint.
