Tolls on Route 27 will go up from Monday

The January struggle will hit drivers who travel on Route 27 first, since after midnight on Sunday the tolls will be more expensive.

The concessionary company Globalvía reported that on January 1st the ordinary quarterly tariff adjustment of the tolls on Route 27 will be applied in accordance with the stipulations of the Concession Contract.

Those traveling on this route must pay 10 more colones in the category of motorcycles and lighters in the tolls of San Rafael, Siquiares, Atenas and Pozón.

The category of buses will only be adjusted at La Guácima tollbooth, the category of 2 and 3 axes in San Rafael and Pozón, the 4-axes in Atenas and Costanera Sur, while those with 5 axes or more will be adjusted in the tolls of San Rafael, Guácima, Siquiares, Atenas and Pozón.
