Tosty’s float won the Festival of Light

December 18, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Festival of Light captivated thousands of Costa Ricans this Saturday. Nearly one million people went to the capital to enjoy Christmas. Floats, bands, cheerleading groups, but above all much magic and illusion were the tone of the night.

In the end, in addition to the enjoyment of youngsters and elders alike, the night left winners in several categories. The float that won the first place was that of the company Demasa and its products Tosty, one of the most applauded and admired of the night for its lighting, costumes and originality.

The structure was titled The Legend of the LIV, a fantastic universe from a video game that the company created two years ago. There were mythological characters, warriors, and the lizard Tosty – in a more spectacular facet – at the head of the float.

The second place went to Kolbi and the third place to the National Insurance Institute (INS) .
