Traffic police issues 105 citations for not having marchamo

According to director of traffic police, German Marin officers have issued 105 violations to drivers who were caught operating vehicles without paying the required circulation tax. The penalty is 49,000 colones ($98) and the removal of license plates. Drivers can only recover the plates after paying the fine and visiting the offices of the Road Safety Council (Cosevi).
