Train service will be restored to normal

August 17, 2016 by Staff News Writer

On Wednesday, the train operators will resume their duties as an agreement has been reached, meaning that INCOFER service is going to be fully enabled.

They will receive a raise of salaries, but the company shall inform how much it will be within 15 days.

We are happy because before we didn’t know if we were going to have a job but now everyone already signed a new contract with better conditions,”

Said Michael Ortíz, machinist assistant.

In addition to the increase in their wages, they will receive travel expenses, new uniforms and tools as well as “camps” for the workers who live in remote areas.
