November 19, 2018 by Staff News Writer

The Ministry of Finance confirmed that, as a result of the “Contract for the placement and distribution of domestic debt securities services,” two companies were awarded with a placement amount of $100 million each.

Additionally, one of them was awarded a best effort amount for a maximum amount of $400 million.

We thank the investors for the trust they have placed in the government bonds and the support they give us at this time, as we approach the end of the year with important commitments that we must honor,”

said Rocío Aguilar, Minister of Finance.

This process began on October 8th when the Ministry of Finance announced that it would be receiving bids for the service of placement contracts with standardized internal debt securities issued under Costa Rican legislation and placed in local transactional platforms. The deadline for receiving offers was October 26th.
