Turrialba Volcano erupted blocks on Monday

A video captured by the cameras of the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI) shows Turrialba Volcano’s activity on Monday morning.

The images recorded the activity from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Monday. During the eruption, the walls of the volcano and the magma broke in blocks that were expelled from 2:12 a.m.

The following ash column rose a thousand meters above the top of the crater.
