Turrialba Volcano erupted on Monday

On Monday, at around 11:05 a.m. Turrialba Volcano erupted again.

According to the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI), the plume was raised to 500 meters above the height of the crater and 3,840 meters above sea level.

They also indicate that this activity resulted in reports of ash fall in Pacayas, Cartago.

At the moment there are no reports of sulfur odor in nearby communities.
