Turrialba volcano eruptions have ceased

After several days of intense volcanic activity and emanation of ash, Turrialba volcano eruptions have ceased and it remains in deep calm.

Eliecer Duarte, expert from the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI) reported that the signal equipment located in the area shows no activity, not even tremors.

In addition, he informed that field works were conducted near the volcano and a great amount of ash was found near the area.
