Turrialba’s volcanic activity is back!

Turrialba volcano started a new period of eruptions last Sunday and it has continued until today.

According to the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI), the wind is going southeast, so Turrialba will have ash emanation today.

Although the ash column has not exceeded 500 meters high, it has been constant and it has reached places such as La Pastora, Finca la Central and Turrialba center.
